Community education and awareness form a critical pillar of Seth Njeri Foundation’s prevention efforts. We believe that sustainable change begins with informed communities that understand the causes, impact, and prevention of gender-based violence.

Gender-Based Violence Education & Prevention

We deliver structured educational programs that address gender-based violence, its root causes, warning signs, and long-term effects on individuals, families, and communities. These sessions are designed to increase understanding, promote early intervention, and empower community members to take action against abuse.

School-Based & Youth Engagement Programs

Through school-based sessions and youth-focused workshops, we engage young people in age-appropriate discussions on healthy relationships, consent, self-esteem, and respect. By reaching children and adolescents early, we help shape positive attitudes and behaviors that prevent violence and promote equality.

Community Forums & Public Workshops

Seth Njeri Foundation organizes community forums, dialogue sessions, and public workshops that create safe spaces for open conversation about gender-based violence. These forums encourage shared learning, experience-sharing, and collective problem-solving, strengthening community commitment to non-violence.

Challenging Harmful Cultural Norms

We work with community leaders, parents, faith institutions, and cultural influencers to address harmful beliefs and practices that normalize or excuse violence. Through respectful dialogue and community-led solutions, we support cultural shifts that uphold dignity, respect, and equality.

Promoting Healthy Relationships & Gender Equality

Our programs emphasize the importance of mutual respect, communication, and equality in relationships. By promoting positive role models and inclusive values, we help communities build environments where non-violent, respectful relationships are the norm.

Community Ownership & Collective Responsibility

Through outreach and engagement initiatives, we encourage communities to take ownership of prevention efforts. By fostering collaboration among stakeholders, we build collective responsibility and empower communities to actively protect members and respond effectively to cases of gender-based violence.
