Seth Njeri Foundation is a community-based organization dedicated to ending gender-based violence, supporting survivors, and fostering a culture of respect, equality, and empowerment across Kenya.
Seth Njeri Foundation was established following the tragic murder (femicide) of Seth, a 23-year-old young woman. Her death highlighted the urgent and growing concern of gender-based violence within communities and learning institutions.
In response, the foundation was created to honor her memory by taking action—protecting lives, supporting survivors, and preventing future violence.

Seth Njeri Foundation delivers survivor-centered programs that focus on prevention, protection, empowerment, and long-term recovery. Through community education, youth engagement, advocacy, health outreach, and survivor support, our programs work together to create safer, more informed, and more empowered communities free from gender-based violence.
Seth Njeri Foundation provides comprehensive survivor-centered support designed to promote healing, dignity, and justice. We offer safe and confidential counseling services that address the emotional and psychological impact of gender-based violence, supporting both survivors and their families as they navigate trauma and recovery.
Prevention is a key pillar of our work. Through structured educational programs, community forums, school-based sessions, and public workshops, we raise awareness about gender-based violence, its root causes, and its social and emotional consequences.
We work closely with schools and learning institutions to empower young people with knowledge, life skills, and values that promote safety and respect. Through mentorship programs, peer education, and age-appropriate discussions, we address issues such as gender equality, consent, self-esteem, and healthy relationships.
We provide confidential counseling, psychosocial care, and legal advocacy to support survivors and their families as they heal from trauma and access justice.
We engage communities, schools, and institutions through education and outreach programs that promote healthy relationships, gender equality, and non-violence.
We empower individuals with skills, mentorship, and economic opportunities while advocating for stronger laws, policies, and systems that protect rights and prevent gender-based violence.
Our impactful work reflects our commitment to creating safer, more empowered communities. Through survivor support services, community awareness initiatives, medical camps, and mentorship programs, we have directly touched lives and strengthened local response to gender-based violence. By combining prevention, support, and empowerment, we continue to drive meaningful change, honor the memory of Seth, and build a future where dignity, equality, and safety are upheld for all.
We provide emotional, psychological, and advocacy support to survivors of gender-based violence, helping them access care, justice, and pathways to healing.
